The Great Plant Hunt has been created by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwins birth. We are taking part with our Home-ed group. Since July we have been studying a section of plantlife in Parkhurst Forest. This involves observing changes and collecting seeds from endangered plants to send to scientists at Kew to be stored in The millenium seed bank that opened in 2000.
